Access group API

What it does
An API endpoint for access groups, documented alongside the rest of the reference.
Before this
An expansion of the API. Endpoints already existed for agents and users. Access groups — the thing that actually decides what a user can reach — had none.
Why it matters
Provision and move users between tiers from your own systems — the piece you need when signup happens somewhere other than Pickaxe.
How it works
An endpoint for access groups, documented alongside the rest of the Workspace API reference: create groups, add and remove users, and move people between tiers programmatically.
The case for it is a signup that happens somewhere other than Pickaxe. If your own site takes the payment, this is the call that puts the customer in the tier they just bought — instead of you doing it by hand or building a webhook receiver to do it for you.
