Timestamps on YouTube knowledge sources
Choose a workspace, then open Knowledge Base.

What it does
YouTube transcripts added to a knowledge base can keep their timestamps.
Before this
An expansion of the YouTube source added days earlier. Transcripts arrived as plain text with the timing stripped out.
Why it matters
Your agent can cite the moment in the video an answer came from, which turns a long recording into something a user can actually verify.
How it works
An Add timestamps switch on YouTube sources, set when you add the video. With it on, the timestamps stay in the transcribed text rather than being stripped out as noise.
That gives the agent something to cite. An answer that says roughly where in a two-hour recording it came from is one a user can go and check — which is the difference between a claim and a source.
