The OpenRouter catalogue is no longer gated to the top tier — every paid plan can select those models.
Before this
Five days old and Pro-only. OpenRouter models reached Pro workspaces on 22 July; this opened the same catalogue to every paid plan.
Why it matters
Access to the long tail of specialist and open-weight models without having to upgrade first.
How it works
OpenRouter is a router in front of dozens of providers, so its catalogue is where the specialist and open-weight models live — the ones no single provider integration would justify adding on its own.
The change was purely about gating: the catalogue used to require the top tier, and now every paid plan can select from it. Nothing about how the models work changed.
