Anthropic's Opus 5 is selectable on any agent.
Before this
An addition to the selector. Claude Opus 4.7 had been the top Anthropic option since April; Opus 5 replaces it at the top and adds Maximum reasoning effort, which 4.7 does not have.
Why it matters
The model to reach for when an agent is doing multi-step reasoning and getting it wrong is expensive.
