Anthropic's Opus 4.7 landed in the model list.
Before this
An addition to the selector. Claude 4.6 Opus was the previous top Anthropic option; 4.7 replaced it, and was itself replaced by Opus 5 in July.
Why it matters
The strongest option at the time for agents doing long, multi-step reasoning over your knowledge base.

Superseded by Claude Opus 5 in July, but still selectable — an agent tuned against 4.7 does not have to move until you have tested that the newer model behaves the same way on your prompts.
