Prompt Design Contest
This June we launched our first ever Prompt Design contest to search for the most creative, useful, and clever prompts out there. We know that the quality of AI prompts drastically shapes the output of AI models. Our contest challeneged our users and the internet at large to write the best prompts and submit them for cash prizes. Of course, all prompts were submitted as pickaxes, and so not visible to anyone but the creator.
We got 100s of pickaxes—from nursing assistants, to intricate games, to mentoring chatbots, to muses. We saw a range of diversity and creativity that was truly inspiring. It confirms our belief that we stand before a new era of wild innovation. Prompt design is a real skill. And well engineered prompts have a lot of value.
